Description

Onboard ADC chip MCP3008

This CrowPi L Base Shield with UART/I2C/Analog/Digital interface. 150+ kinds of Crowtail modules can be plugged onto the CrowPi L Raspberry Pi laptop through this base shield. Moreover, this expansion board has an onboard ADC chip, so it is possible to use an analog output module on the CrowPi L. It uses the MCP3008 chip to communicate with the Raspberry Pi through the SPI interface.

Great Product

It wraps RPi in a nice casing, very easy to carry.
However, the GPIO side connector is quite small, not easy to plug in and out the GPIO breakout board, whose pins are rather soft, and easily to get spoiled.

Somethings missing

Web Cam doesn't work
No 2nd desktop visible
Secondary ios (raspberry pi 4) don't work well.
After system update some apps open up in unseen 2nd desktop, I think. Still trouble shooting.

look niece unfortunately no doc on connector type....much research think its HY2.0 4 pin. Not sure if shield offers any protection against accidental miswiring to crow Pil internals or to the P4
